Penn Leads The Vote, Penn’s nonpartisan, student-led voter engagement and education organization housed in the Netter Center in partnership with the Office of Government and Community Affairs, seeks a qualified candidate to join the PLTV team as an Undergraduate Partnerships Coordinator. Responsibilities will include:
- Build on and maintain a Voter Engagement Council (VEC) of undergraduate organizations dedicated to increasing civic engagement
- Maintain partnerships with undergraduate college houses and other Penn offices
- Present “Voting 101” presentations at undergraduate organization GBMs and other events targeting undergraduates
- Develop a plan to increase outreach to undergraduates beyond undergraduate organizations
- Plan collaborative events with undergraduate organizations
- Share civic engagement and voting materials with undergraduate partners through email, messaging, tabling, and outreach efforts
- Represent PLTV at undergraduate events
- Assisting with other duties as they arise within the organization, such as staffing tables
We are looking for someone who possesses the following:
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Demonstrated interest in voter and civic engagement
- Ability to complete high-priority tasks on a tight deadline
- Robust problem-solving skills and outside-the-box thinking
- Free for mandatory weekly team meetings once a week (7pm on Wednesdays)
- First or second year student preferred
